Why Taiwan

Reon Education is a company from Hong Kong, so when we needed to decide the best location for our program, we chose from different cities such as China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. We knew that Beijing seemed to be the best place because it is popular and well known by foreigners, but from an Asian’s point of view, we have different perspectives. So we chose Taiwan, because we believe students will obtain more here.

Taiwan and China comes from the same source with the same culture and the same type of people. But a war happened 50 years ago and separated the people to two sides, communistic China and democracy Taiwan.

In 1960, Cultural Revolution happened in China, ancient treasures were destroyed, even the traditional characters that have been used thousands years. But fortunately, Taiwan, this freedom China, had avoid this disaster, retaining the ancient goods, characters, and the most important of all, the spirit. That is the reason why today when a person who studies Chinese in depth, would choose Taiwan from China.

Taiwan is a mix country, combined by the ancient and modern culture. Here we have the National Palace Museum which collects the 5000 years’ culture essence, along with the tallest building Taipei 101 ; also with the biggest traditional night market in Asia, and the No.1 subway system-Taipei MRT. Besides, Taiwan is also well known as the city of delicious, Taiwan had combine races from China and Japan, creating a variety of cultural and delicious foods.

Besides that Taiwan is the best country which retains the Chinese culture in depth, but also its highly development and economy standard makes surroundings more comfortable. And its democracy and clear laws makes people safe and protected. During these years we have seen many foreigners who come to China and got into troubles or lawsuits because of its communism. Considering the students safety issues, we’ll try to prevent these things happening in our program.

We have confidence that our students will have unforgettable memories and be touched by this land, after the program.
